La Tijereta is a seed and agrochemical brand owned by the Monsanto Group. A client of the agency since 2004 (one of our first major accounts!), we were engaged to comprehensively manage the brand’s development. This involved implementing branding initiatives, online/offline advertising, digital strategies, B2B communication with the distribution channel, as well as media planning and buying.

FOCUS ON STRATEGY AND CREATIVITY.

Our focus revolved around the comprehensive development of the La Tijereta brand, operating within the framework of a B-Brand strategy of the leading maize portfolio brand, Dekalb, under the Monsanto-Bayer umbrella.

For over 15 years, we served as their full-service agency, collaborating on branding initiatives, both online and offline advertising, engagements with the distribution channel, field events such as Expoagro, and media planning.

BRAND STRATEGY, B2B AND B2C CREATIVITY, & DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT.

Back in 2004, La Tijereta was an obscure brand, holding a meager market share and suffering from poor-quality communication. Fast forward nearly 13 years to 2017, and La Tijereta has risen to become the #2 brand in market share within the competitive maize seed industry. It has also established a prominent presence in Argentina’s agricultural sector.

Before NSB’s inception, our directors had worked with brands such as Nidera, Basf, and Cyanamids. Subsequently, as part of our agency, La Tijereta became our inaugural client (prior to its acquisition by Monsanto). Soon after, we welcomed Syngenta, DonMario, Illinois Semillas, AGD, and Zea Global Seeds into our client roster.
